Seasonal Employment

Recreation Attendants and Recreation Specialists are needed to work at the Town's Parks this summer. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and must be able to work through Labor Day.

Lifeguards are needed to work at Onanda Park and the West Lake Road Schoolhouse. Applicants must have their updated waterfront lifeguard certification and CPR certification.

Motor Equipment Operator

The Town of Canandaigua Highway Department is looking for a full-time Motor Equipment Operator. The minimum requirements for this position are: One (1) year of full-time operation of driving with a CDL B with air brakes, lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, working nights and weekends, operating a manual transmission, knowledge of operating heavy equipment, ability to carry out oral instructions and manual labor. Any additional experience is valuable to the position.
