Accepted Forms of Payment

All fees are paid at the Town Clerk's office (except Town Court fines).  The following are accepted forms of payment at the Town Clerk's office.

• Cash

• Check (payable to Town of Canandaigua)

• Credit Card -- The Town of Canandaigua does offer the convenience of accepting MasterCard, Discover, and Visa credit / debit cards.  The payment processing company does charge the user a convenience fee for the use of this service (a minimum of $1.75 or 2.45% of the total fee).

• Water Bill Payments only, through your financial institution/bank and set the Town of Canandaigua up as an online payee.  Upon receipt of your quarterly water bill, direct your financial instiution/bank to send the Town of Canandaigua a check for the amount due. Please be sure to direct your financial institution/bank to include your water bill account number on yourcheck. You will need to allow up to 10 days for your financial institution/bank to process the check request.

• Water Bill Payments:  Complete an Authorization Form to allow the Town to autimatically withdraw your quarterly water bill from you designated bank account.  Click here for more information.

• County / Town tax bills can be paid online with a credit or debit card (Property owners are advised that the convenience fee is 2.85% plus $0.40 per transaction or 2.45%).  Click here to pay your County / Town tax bill online.

** Please note, the Town Clerk's Office does not accept Town Court fine payments. **
