Miller Park
3240 NY Route 21 South, Canandaigua, NY 14424
Miller Park is located near the corner of County Road 32 (Bristol Rd.) and Route 21 South. This park consists of 23 acres of open grasslands with trails and a gazebo for picnicking. The land was purchased from Mr. John Miller, whose family has farmed this area for generations.
Dennis Brewer, former Director of Parks and Recreation, was instrumental in designing a park that fits both the community character and the needs of our Town. Miller Park offers low-impact recreational activities such as walking, birdwatching, relaxing and picnicking. With the Palmyra Drumlins, Ontario County Courthouse and the Rochester skyline visible, the view at the top of the park is breathtaking,
“Open meadow is one of the rarer habitats on the planet these days. How fortunate we are to have one developing.” Edith Davey.
“Just wanted to let you know how much the local birders, not to mention the local birds, have been enjoying Miller Park. Canandaigua members of the Eaton Birding Society have been visiting the park regularly and reporting to each other on the sightings.” Saralinda Hooker, Town of Canandaigua resident.
