Upcoming Recycling Events for Ontario County Residents

Confidential Paper Shred Event June 8th, 8:00 am to 11:00 am

This event will be held at the Town of Hopewell Highway Facility located at 2716 County Rd. 47 in Canandaigua.

This event is open and free to all Ontario County residents. 

Registration is required and will be open from 5/20 - 6/6 or until full.  To register click here or contact Ontario County Waste and Recycling department at recycle@ontariocountyny.gov, or call (585) 393-3090.  
Waste is limited to 5 legal size boxes (24”x15”x10”) per household.
Only residentially generated waste accepted- no business/commercial waste will be accepted.   

 

Bulky and Rigid Plastics Recycling Event June 15th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am

This event will be held at the Ontario County Landfill located at 3555 County Road 49 in Stanley.

 

 

This event is open and free to all Ontario County residents. 

Please review the Rigid Plastics Recycling Guide for a list of accepted materials.  All materials must be CLEAN.  Materials cannot contain debris, excessive dirt, or any chemical residues.  Larger items should be disassembled so that they can be handled appropriately.
