July 18, 2022, Town Board Public Hearings

The Canandaigua Town Board will be conducting public hearings on the following topics on Monday, July 18, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Onnalinda Conference Room on the lower level of the Canandaigua Town Hall located at 5440 Route 5 & 20 West, Canandaigua, NY, and people can participate via Zoom (details found on the Town’s website). Information for these public hearings can be viewed on the Town’s website. All persons of interest will be heard at this time and date. All questions relating to the local law should be directed to Town Manager Doug Finch at dfinch@townofcanandaigua.org.

  • Draft local law to amend Chapter 4 (Agricultural Advisory Committee) as it relates to altering the number of members and who qualifies to be a member of the Committee.

  • Draft local law to override the tax cap override for the 2023 budget

  • Draft local law to amend Chapter 174 (Subdivision of Land), Chapter 1, General Provisions, Definitions), and Chapter 220 (Zoning) as it relates to subdivisions along private drives and clarifying the Planning Board’s ability to waive certain aspects of the Town’s Site Design and Development Criteria

  • The expenditure of Open Space Funds for Land Acquisition (7.9 acres located at 4760 Seneca Point Road, adjacent to McJannett Park)

  • The possible acquisition of portions of 3950 County Road 16
