Town of Canandaigua residents that were impacted by the storm this past weekend can bring thier brush to the highway facility Monday July 1st & Tuesday July 2nd from 7 am to 4 pm and Wednesday July 3rd from 7 am to 8 pm.
Only RESIDENTIAL brush & debris will be accepted. Please be sure to have your yellow 2024 Transfer Station hang tag upon arrival. Please contact the Highway Department at (585) 394-3300 or highway@townofcanandaigua.org with any questions.  

 

Town Board Public Hearing Restore NY Communities Initiative

The Canandaigua Town Board will be conducting a public hearing with the purpose to obtain citizens’ views and comments relative to the submission of an application to Empire State Development for financial assistance under the Restore NY Communities Initiative for 48 new permanent affordable housing units located on a 1.56-acre vacant parcel at 0000 Parkside Drive, TM# 70.11-1-30.000. The public hearing wiT be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Onnalinda Conference Room on the lower level of the Canandaigua Town Hall located at 5440 Route 5 & 20 West, Canandaigua, NY, and people can participate via Zoom (details found on the Town’s website).  All persons of interest will be heard at this time and date.  All questions relating to the project should be directed to Town Manager Doug Finch at dfinch@townofcanandaigua.org or 585-394-1120 ext. 2234.
