Town of Canandaigua residents that were impacted by the storm this past weekend can bring thier brush to the highway facility Monday July 1st & Tuesday July 2nd from 7 am to 4 pm and Wednesday July 3rd from 7 am to 8 pm.
Only RESIDENTIAL BRUSH & DEBRIS will be accepted at this time. Please be sure to have your yellow 2024 Transfer Station hang tag upon arrival. Please contact the Highway Department at (585) 394-3300 or highway@townofcanandaigua.org with any questions.  

 

September 18, 2023, Public Hearings

The Canandaigua Town Board will be holding three public hearings to discuss:

 

  • The use $600,000 from the Town’s Open Space Reserve Fund to purchase real property to protect open space, expand Onanda Park, provide access to trails, and protect the water quality of Canandaigua Lake;
  • The use of $305,000 of the $600,000 to purchase 12.98 acres to expand Onanda Park (link to review map:  http://www.townofcanandaigua.org/page.asp?id=281) ; and
  • A Petition to Amend the Official Zoning Map to Rezone 3907 County Road 16 (TM#113.13-1-10.000) from Residential Lake District (RLD) to Incentive Zoning (IZ) (link to application:  http://www.townofcanandaigua.org/page.asp?id=280) .

 

The public hearings will take place on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Onnalinda Conference Room located on the lower level of the Canandaigua Town Hall, located at 5440 Routes 5 & 20 West, Canandaigua, New York.
