Town of Canandaigua residents that were impacted by the storm this past weekend can bring thier brush to the highway facility Monday July 1st & Tuesday July 2nd from 7 am to 4 pm and Wednesday July 3rd from 7 am to 8 pm.
Only RESIDENTIAL BRUSH & DEBRIS will be accepted at this time. Please be sure to have your yellow 2024 Transfer Station hang tag upon arrival. Please contact the Highway Department at (585) 394-3300 or highway@townofcanandaigua.org with any questions.

TAKE NOTICE, that I, Crystelyn Laske, the undersigned Receiver of Taxes of the Town of Canandaigua, County of Ontario and State of New York, have duly received the Tax Roll and Warrant for collection of taxes within the Town of Canandaigua for the year 2024.  For the purpose of receiving taxes on said roll, the following places, dates and times have been set:

Canandaigua Town Hall, 5440 Route 5 & 20 West, Canandaigua NY, starting Tuesday, January 2 through Monday, April 1, 2024, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Wednesdays until 5:30 pm, except legal holidays.

FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, Canandaigua National Bank and Trust will also accept full payments only during the month of January 2024.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes shall be received or post-marked, without penalty, on or before the 31st day of January. Thereafter, fees will be one (1) percent for the month of February and two (2) percent for the month of March 2024. Taxes may also be paid in installments. The first installment (one-half of the total amount) must be paid by Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The second installment, the remaining half plus interest fees, will be due by Monday, April 1, 2024. The installment plan can only be used if the first installment is paid in January.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of law, effective Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the tax roll of the Town of Canandaigua and all unpaid taxes will be returned to the Ontario County Treasurer for additional fees and collection.
